Brooks Range Petroleum Corporation (BRPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Venture Capital Group (AVCG), LLC. BRPC is the operating entity for AVCG and the working interest owners participating on the North Slope of Alaska.

AVCG was formed with the specific intent to pursue large reserves on the prolific North Slope. At present, AVCG is the largest privately owned lease-holder on the North Slope.

Alaska’s North Slope provides an opportunity to explore for large reserves in a domestic and politically stable environment. BRPC is well positioned to take advantage of its 269,000 acre land position. We have two recent discoveries and 240 square miles of new vintage 3D seismic data.  

The major companies, who have historically dominated the North Slope, typically no longer pursue prospects containing less than 100 MMBO. BRPC is focused on development of these sized accumulations which collectively represent an opportunity to create attractive returns. BRPC has recognized the opportunity for these untapped reserves outside existing fields and, as an experienced and efficiently run independent, is well positioned for organic growth.
